The Christening Envelope
The towel which belonged to the Spendiaryans’ family was made at the end of 19th and the beginning of 20th centuaries in Sebastia-Marzvan /Central Anatoly/. There are the embroidery with silk thread, metal thread and brass on the cotton envelope.

The Covering of Violin
The covering of Spendiaryan’s violin was obtained in 1900s. There are embroidered floral ornaments, the images of stringed and wind musical instruments on the silk covering.

Al. Spendiaryan’s “C. BECHSTEIN” piano
The composer has bought the instrument at the beginning of the 20th century /1905 – 06/ in Yalta. At first the piano was in his study-room. Since 1916 to 1926 it was in composer's country house in Sudak. Then the piano was transported to Yerevan.

Spendiaraphon
The musical instrument, based on Spendiaryan's idea, was made in Simpheropol during the 1990’s. It was created especially for the simphonic picture “The Three Palms Tree” to reveal the sound of caravan. The composer's teacher N. Rimski-Korsakov called the instrument “Spendiaraphon”.

Al. Spendairyan’s violin
Al. Spendairyan’s violin, which he bought in the beginning of the 1990’s. Inside the violin there is a superscription “Wicaulaus Amtius Cremonien Hieronimi Antoni Wepos Feeit. An 1711”, which indicates that the violin is the fabric copy of Amati violin which was created in 1711.

There is an interesting story connected with the cigars. Spendiaryan loved to smoke. Sometimes, during the rehearsals in an orchestra he asked to the concertmaster of the first violin section to give him two cigars from the cigarette case. He was smoking one of them and the second one was kept behind his ear. Without stopping the rehearsal, Spendiaryan was keeping conduct with the stub of а cigar in his hand.
