The fifty-fifth anniversary of the House-Museum
In 2022 On December 9th the ceremony dedicated to the fifty-fifth anniversary of the House-Museum took place in the hall of the Spendiaryan House-Museum.
The representatives of the ceremony were the partner institutions, cultural figures, members of the Scientific Council and former employees of the Spendiaryan House-Museum.
In the opening speech, the director of the House-Museum- Marine Otaryan, congratulated the guests on the anniversary of the opening of the first music memorial museum in Yerevan and emphasized the role of the employees in the establishment of this important cultural center.
The temporary exhibition was entitled "The history of the 55-year-old museum in a mosaic of photos". The professors of Yerevan State Komitas Conservatory- Armen Budaghyan and Davit Ghazaryan, Director of the Art Institute- Anna Asatryan, People's Artist of RA- Valmar, Director of Martiros Saryan's House-Museum- Ruzan Saryan, composer Robert Amirkhanyan came out with a speech appreciating the role of the House-Museum in popularizing Spendiaryan's heritage. who also gave a heartfelt performance of his song- "Inpersonality. Was shown the video film "55 frames from the 55-year-old museum" authored by Inessa Khachatryan, a researcher of the museum, which presented the history of the house-museum spanning more than half a century.
Tamar Harutyunyan (flute), Vardges Hovhannisyan (bassoon), Erik Grigoryan (oboe) and Katarine Hovsepyan (piano) performed arrangements of Spendiaryan songs for brass instruments. The museum presented letters of thanks to the former employees of the museum: researchers Karine Margaryan, Sargis Hovhannisyan, and the new researcher of the museum Katarine Hovsepyan. The festive day and mood were summed up and completed in group photos.
