On International Museum Day, May 18, the Alexander Spendiaryan House-Museum officially launched its new educational project, "Your Friend Spendiaryan." The program is designed for children ranging from preschool age to 4th grade. Teachers and representatives from 15 schools in the Kentron administrative district were invited to the presentation. What does the "Your Friend Spendiaryan" (watch, recognise, listen, and color) educational program offer? It consists of the following components:
● Watching the "Alexander Spendiaryan" animated short film
● Coloring the illustrated book “Spendiaryan in Armenia”
● A group discussion
● An interactive game-tour titled "Find the Picture in the Museum"
Through this project, children gain easily understandable and engaging knowledge, develop a culture of visiting museums, and enjoy intellectual entertainment.
