November 1, the birthday of the nameous Armenian man Alexander Spendiaryan is an awaited occasion for those who consider his creative heritage important to unite and proclaim the presence of the composer nowadays. This year the staff and the pupils of the two institutions named after the composer – Armenian National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet and Yerevan Special Music School with the Alexander Spendiaryan House-museum, the culture figures and composer’s heritage fans as well took the occasion to lay down flowers on his grave and to attend the ceremony of Young Spendiaryanians’ solemn pledge.
