THE BIRTH DAY ANNIVERSARY OF ARMENIAN POET IN THE HOUSE OF GREAT SYMPHONIST

The Spendiaryan House-museum’s senior scientific worker Astghik Harutyunyan had refered to the history of creation and stagement of the operas of two Armenian composers - Alexander Spendiaryan’s “Almast” and Vardan Adjemyan’s “The death of Kikos”, based on the literature themes of Hovhannes Tumanyan at the beginning and the end of the 20th century.
The soloists of the Opera and Ballet Theatre of Armenia - Narine Ananikyan (mezzo-soprano) and Perch Qarazyan (tenor) \ performed arias from the opera “Almast”. The composer Vardan Adjemyan and staging director Alice Heqimbashyan told about their memories of the stagements of those operas.
The event was dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Armenian poet Hovhannes Tumanyan.
