On May 3, the Alexander Spendiaryan House-Museum welcomed the latest participant of the "Children-Masters 2025" project — 13-year-old Vahagn Yengibaryan, a student at the Alexey Heqimyan Music School. Vahagn studies under the guidance of Hayk Hakobyan and plays the marimba as well as nearly all percussion instruments. In addition, he pursues trumpet, vocal, and composition studies at the school. He is a laureate of numerous competitions and festivals.
During the event, Vahagn performed works by M. de Falla, J. Brahms, N. Zivkovic, A. Vivaldi, and A. Khachaturian on the marimba. He also showcased his vocal talents by singing R. Falvo’s "Say I Want To." Lusine Baghramyan accompanied him.
An exhibition of Vahagn’s visual artwork was also on display in the foyer of the House-Museum’s concert hall.
The evening was hosted by Inessa Khachatryan, senior researcher at the Alexander Spendiaryan House-Museum. .
