On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vladilen Balyan — founder and director of the Alexander Spendiaryan House-Museum, composer, public figure, People's Artist of the Republic of Armenia, and honorary citizen of Gyumri and Yerevan — a series of commemorative events were held.
The final event took place on January 25, 2025, in the hall of the A. Spendiaryan House-Museum and featured a lecture titled "Vladilen Balyan: The Architect of Cultural Life." The speaker was museum researcher Sirarpi Yengibaryan, who captivated the audience with new insights into the life and work of Vladilen Balyan — composer, citizen, and cultural icon.
