"Children-Masters"
On March 28, the hall of the Alexander Spendiaryan House-Museum was once again filled with visitors.
The "Children-Masters" project, originally launched in 2019, resumed with renewed energy. The initiative aims to discover talented students from music and art schools, offering them a platform to showcase their skills to the public.
The first participant of the 2025 "Children-Masters" project was 10-year-old Yeva Nersisyan, a student at the A. Hekimyan Music School.
This award-winning young talent, a laureate of numerous competitions and festivals, not only impressed with her musical performance but also charmed the audience by sharing her personal tastes and heartfelt wishes.
Accompanied by pianist Haykuhi Navoyan, she performed works by A. Spendiaryan, Yu. Dolzhikov, A. Khachaturian, J.S. Bach, and others. A delightful surprise was her performance of Beethoven's Minuet for two flutes, played alongside her beloved teacher, Susanna Ayvazyan.
In her thank-you speech, Monica Petrosyan, director of the A. Hekimyan Music School emphasized that the collaboration with the Alexander Spendiaryan House-Museum is ongoing and firmly rooted, adding that it is an honor to be the initiator of this project's revival.
The project was curated by Inessa Khachatryan, senior researcher at the Alexander Spendiaryan House-Museum.
