MUSICAL NIGHT IN THE ARMENIAN’S 1st MUSICAL MUSEUM
The building located on Nalbandyan 21 completes Yerevan’s architectural alignment since 1926 and is a historical monument included in the Republic’s state cultural monuments’ list, and the Alexander Spendiaryan 51-year-old House-museum, founded in this building on November 25 in 1967, is a unique element of capital’s cultural life. It was one of the first museums to join the “Museum Night” and “Museum International Day” events. This year Alexander Spendiaryan House-museum, among the Armenia’s and Artsakh’s 116 museums, already 15th time has joined the world 30.000 museums and as a hyperconnected museum, to give the opportunity to visitors to be informed about remarkable moments of composer’s life and creative activity, to enjoy interactive virtual games using new technologies as well. And what comes to one of the special nights – The Museum Night, thanks to cooperation of 2 institutes named after Alexander Spendiaryan – the House-museum and the Musical School, has become more musical. Armenia’s 1st Musical House-museum and 1st Musical School has presented 2800-year-old capitals’ development stages within the open-air multi genre concert named “Yerevan sounds on Nalbandyan 21”.
