A concert entitled “Ukrainian songs arrangements by Spendiaryan” took place at 16:00 p. m. on October 26th, 2019, in the Alexander Spendiaryan House-museum’s events hall. During the event Spendiaryan’s refer to Ukrainian national music was presented by house-museum’s chief funder temporary actor Astghik Harutyunyan. Armenian texts parallel translation to Ukrainian was provided by the lecturer of the Yerevan Branch of Ternopol National University of Economics Diana Babayan.  Composer’s several arrangements of Ukrainian Folk songs and duets were performed in native language by Lianna Vardanyan /soprano/, Narine Ananikyan /mezzo-soprano/, Mkrtich Mkrtchyan /baritone/ and Karine Hovhannisyan /piano/.   The concert was historical because the spendiaryanian arrangements’ live performance in the house-museum took place for the first time. The attendees were Denys Avtonomov, the Chargé d'Affaires of Ukraine to Armenia, members of Ukrainian community in Armenia, prominent singers, professors, and music lovers as well.
