A concert entitled “Selected arias from the Baroque era” took place at 16:00 p. m. on March 7th, at the Alexander Spendiaryan House-museum events’ hall as a musical dedication towards the Women’s Holidays. The concert was realized in the frame of the project “With the House-museum”.
The vocal soloist Alexan Khachatryan (bass) with piano accompaniment of Levon Harutyunyan represented 15 favorite arias written by the Baroque Era composers. The musicians had prepared Spendiaryan’s romance “Hey, rose” as a surprise for the International Women’s Day. And beyond the concert program, they performed vocal-chamber compositions by L. van Beethoven and F. Schubert.
By the way, March 7th also was the soloist’s birthday that was noted with his first recital.
