In the frame of the “Spendiaryan-150” chamber music festival an event entitled “Spendiaryan in Armenia” took place on September 4th, 2021 at the Gyumri Branch of Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory.
During the event a partnership memorandum was signed between the Spendiaryan House-museum and the Gyumri Branch of YSC. The following lecture was represented by the speakers Marine Otaryan, the director of the Spendiaryan House-museum and Hasmik Harutyunyan, the rector of the Gyumri Branch of YSC.
The documentary film entitled “The realized dream” was screened after the lecture. It was initiated and created by the researchers of the house-museum, Inessa Khachatryan and Tathev Tananyan. Exclusive materials connected with the creative relations between Spendiaryan and his beloved music teacher Nikolay Rimski-Korsakov are shown in this film. In the end of the event a concert took place with the participation of the students of the Gyumri Branch of YSC. The concert program consisted of the music by Armenian composers.
