In the frame of the European Heritage Days 2021 a unique temporary exhibition entitled "The founder of the Armenian classical symphonic music" opened on September 25, at the great hall of the National Library of Armenia. The initiators of the exhibition were the Alexander Spendiaryan House-museum, the Printing museum of the Armenian National Library and Charents Museum of Literature and Arts of Armenia.

Unique original materials connected with Alexander Spendiaryan - photos, letters, concert programs and posters, first editions of his compositions, literature dedicated to the biography and creative way of the composer, CDs and gramophone records were represented.

The director of the A. Spendiaryan House-museum Marine Otaryan and the director of the National Library of Armenia Anna Chulyan welcomed the guests and greatly appreciated the triple cooperation. The director of the Printing museum of the Armenian National Library Balasan Harutyunyan represented the details of European Heritage Days events, and the main keeper of the fund of the Spendiaryan House-museum Astghik Harutyunyan told about the exhibited materials.   Marine Otaryan gifted the Georgy Budaghyan's book "The notes about the orchestration of the opera "Almast" by Spendiraov", published on the occasion of the composer's 150th birth anniversary by the initiation of the Spendiaryan House-museum to the Library.
