On May 8, in the hall of Alexander Spendiaryan house - museum held a concert dedicated to the 100th birth anniversary of famous Armenian composer Vladilen Balyan.
For this time, Vladilen Balyan honored by his young musical colleagues- YSC professor, pianist Margarit Sargsyan, opera singer Narine Ananikyan, and Arsen Gevorgyan (tenor).
They performed a concert program of Vladilen Balyan’s compositions based on the poems of Silva Kaputikyan’s and Yeghishe Charents. Musicians expressed their love and gratitude to Vladilen Balyan as a composer and as personality. The presenters-Marine Otaryan, the Director of Alexander Spendiaryan house-museum, Armenuhi Demirchyan-Director of Silva Kaputikyan house-museum, novelist and art critic Seyranuhi Geghamyan, an Artist Gharib Yeghiazaryan told their memories about composer Vladilen Balyan.
The evening marked by Vladilen Balyan’s song – (The song, our song) lyrics by Silva Kaputikyan and Narine Ananikyan presented a video by her based on this song.
