On April 25,in the house-museum of Alexander Spendiaryan, celebrated the 100th anniversary of  Vladilen Balyan - composer, music-public figure, group leader, honored art figure, group leader, honored art figure of ASSR, medalist of saint Movses Korenatsi, winner of the gold medal of RA Ministry of Culture, RA People’s Artist, honorary citizen of Gyumri and Yerevan. The day marked by the presentation of a new CD of Balyan’s songs. The CD initiated by Tigran Hakhumyan-grandson of the composer. Two series songs included in CD performed by RA Honored Artist Anna Mailyan (soprano). During the evening performed the songs- “The past won’t came back” and “Here is a stream, there is corpse”. The reciter Anna MIkayelyan presented the poetic lines of two more songs. The video about the composer shown-“Balyan personality and a public figure”. The author of the film is Inesa Khachatryan, senior researcher of the house-museum. The present intellectuals in the hall shared with their memories. They were- Alexander Spedniaryan house-museum director Marine Otaryan, composer’s son, arcitect Karen Balyan, Alina Pahlevanyan-professor of Yerevan State conservatory, Armen Budaghyan, Tovmas Poghosyan, Svetlana Navasardyan, art critic Ruzan Saryan, arcitect Anush-Ter Minasyan. In on honor of Vladilen Balyan, the People’s Artist of the ASSR Svetlana Navasardyan presented a bunch of Chopin’s miniatures to the audience. In his speech S. Navasardyan mentioned that Vladilen Balyan found out the key to understanding life and mastered the art of living.
