On May 7 th, a tribute ceremony was held in the park adjacent to the A. Spendiaryan National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet to honor the great figure of Armenian classical music. An exceptional musical piece resonated at the composer's grave: for the first time in 98 years, Levon Khoja-Eynatyan's "Funeral Song" was performed again. Written in 1928, the piece is dedicated to the memory of his teacher, Alexander Spendiaryan.
